Initial examination:  We offer thorough initial examinations ranging from a simple, condition specific examinations to comprehensive examinations.  We perform dozens off neurological tests, orthopedic tests, muscle tension, strength and balance tests, postural evaluation from head to toe, specific joint integrity and motion tests, ranges of motion, and several other systems tests as needed to ensure an accurate differential diagnosis.

  Adjustment/Joint Manipulation:  Our profession’s unique, extremely safe and effective way of optimizing joint motion, alignment, and nervous system function.

 

Other manual therapies:  We always try to address muscles, ligaments and joints together.  This at times necessitates that we utilize massage, stretching and other methods to release adhesions in muscles, relieve tension and improve flexibility.

 

Neuromuscular Re-education/Therapeutic Exercise/Rehabilitation:

Sometimes strengthening muscles or training proper movements, or retraining balance and stability is required for complete recovery especially when the patient is athletic.  Guided exercises are key and retraining the nervous system to returned injured body part to proper function.

 

Modalities:   Electrical therapy is utilized to reduce swelling, pain, and to accelerate healing.  Ultrasound therapy consists of high frequency sound waves that penetrate deep and help to break up adhesions, reduce inflammation, pain, and accelerate healing. Hot packs increase circulation and soft tissue flexibility to an area preparing it for stretching or joint manipulation. Cold packs constrict blood vessels reducing inflammation, and pain at an acutely injured area.

Cancellation Policy:

We try to be flexible with our appointment schedule but require advance reservation. To ensure our clients and patients are not denied appointment times unnecessarily, there is a $20 cancellation fee if you fail to notify us at least 3 hours before your appointment.
